My group consisted of Charlotee, Marianna and myself we produced a short film. In this film we had to include match on action, shot reverse shot, sound, mise en scene and general camera skills. We had to film someone walking through a door, walk across the room, sit down with another person and say four lines of dialogue.
Our exercise went well. All of the shots were steady and in focus because we used a tripod, our shots were also all correctly framed using the rule of thirds. The camera hight and position in each shot were correct as was the eyeline match. All subjects are clearly visible and we followed the the 180o rule. I wouldn't change any of the shots but i would include more shorts as our production was very short.
Our match on action was very successful and there were no jump cuts. The pace of the shots were correct and the transitions were not visible. Our shot reverse shot sequence went very well, our dialogue was clear and appropriate. I wouldn't change any editing decisions.
The lighting was good and the background setting was appropriate.I contributed by acting and helping to edit. Our team worked together well and we managed to create a well produced piece of work that we are happy with (despite our computer continously crashing).
Fair point about the computer crashing! Give full names of team members next time. Good use of technical terms. Please add the video asap!
